Rebecca, Dorothy and Vanessa have been stealing from the corner shop. After a sharp scolding from Miss Mathews, one by one, these girls are punished hard for their terrible transgression.

Miss Mathews fetches a thin, stingy birch bundle, teasing the frightened girls with their next punishment, Rebecca goes first, leaning back on the bench with her legs up in the diaper position. The teacher whips the little thief again and again, making Rebecca shiver in pain, as each stroke leaves fine red lines on those naughty young cheeks.
