Amelia and Nicola have been chosen to perform in the Christmas Pantomime, and it all goes wrong! Miss Mathews is none too pleased with the girls' lack of preparation, and decides a hard punishment is in order.

The girls perform their routine for Miss Mathews, who is still unimpressed. Up against the wall, both girls are subjected to more painful punishment, this time from the teacher's heavy wooden clothbrush. Crying and shaking at the knees, Nicola and Amelia are paddled over and over until their bottoms begin to bruise.
