I have allowed Rebecca to stay with me for quite some time, and she shows her gratitude by breaking my house rules! I have also learned that she is not turning up for the job I found for her. This girl may be all grown up, but I will treat this embarrassing immaturity the old fashioned way.

Rebecca is cradling my carpet beater, and nervously waiting for me to enter the room. Bent over the chair, the first swat of the stingy wood makes the poor girl's knees buckle, and there's much more to come! Rebecca takes stroke after stroke, writhing and wincing, until her sore bottom is angry and red hot!
