Miss Mathews is livid when she discovers the birthday cake she had made so lovingly is now half-eaten. Of course, she knows who the culprits are, and lines Margaret and Susanne up against the wall for a harsh interrogation. The girls fearfully confess, knowing their punishment will be quite severe.

Margaret goes first over Miss Mathews' knee, for a hard hand spanking, followed by twelve painful strokes with a heavy wooden spoon.
