Susie is dressed to the nine, all smiles as she's skipping away from school, but Miss Mathews catches her at the front door. Checking though her purse, the teacher finds lipstick, and a love letter. "Oh Susie!", says Miss Mathews, as she watches the glee vanish from poor Susie's face. How well Susie takes her punishment will determine whether her parents shall be notified.

Susie fetches Miss Mathews a wooden spoon, then goes right back over her knee.
