Miss West caught Helen going through the teacher's desk – a serious offense – and she lets Helen know there will be swift and severe punishment.

Naughty little Helen is bent over the bench, her sore bottom in position for Miss West's stingy tawse. All the crying in the world isn't going to help this little miscreant, until she admits what she's done and identifies her conspirators. "You're taking the punishment for everybody.", says the secretary, as she swings the leather over and over against Helen's bruised bottom, making her yelp in pain.
